KYLESA
Kylesa reunites after 10 years of hiatus, picking up their experimental sludge metal where they left off in 2015, and has picked A Colossal Weekend for one of their limited, special engagements in 2025!
Led by the guitar/vocal duo of Laura Pleasants and Phillip Cope, Kylesa has been a key constellation in Georgia’s metal scene since 2001 with their unique sonic range and unmatched wall of sound with a base of two sets of drums, all on sonic display on their seven studio albums. The band has been called a force of nature, “dark psych-metal titans”, and an “amalgamation of Black Sabbath, Black Flag, and early Pink Floyd”.
Kylesa is a Buddhist term for delusory mental states, and the songs deal with uncertainty, lost connections, crushed souls, and what our shadow may tell us. As Kylesa’s colossal sound steadily expands, light will shine through the cracks within, and you will let it all go.
