BOSCO SACRO

Italian underground Bosco Sacro are bringing their elegant doom-gaze to Colossal! Their debut album, Gem (2023), is released on the Italian cult label Avantgarde Music, and is the result of working with producer Lorenzon Stecconi, known for his sound wizardry with bands such as Amenra and Ufommamut.

Bosco Sacro means sacred woods and the band’s music is a spiritual reunion with the beauty and vastness of the forests and the landscapes. The dream-like soundscapes mix devotional and emancipating moments in the shape of healing based in eternal, slowed-down pulse. Song titles such as “Emerald Blood” and “Be Dust” brings focus to the health of the woods and of time itself. According to Bosco Sacro, we will weep until we replenish the fountains of the gods.
